When MECANCO inherited this project,
the client was operating under a temporary structure that was failing
to meet even the most basic functional demands of the facility —
let alone the upgraded standards they had invested in.
Our team approached the project from the ground up — literally.
Foundation reinforcements were engineered at the base level,
while the entire roofing structure was completely redesigned
around the functional and architectural aspirations of the facility.
Every requirement was integrated into the design from day one —
from precise extended height specifications and facade integration
to blackout membrane performance, UV and heat control,
air ducting coordination and full service integration.
The result is not merely a sports hall.
It is a column-free architectural dome
that carries its curvature seamlessly from roofline to column base,
celebrates its structural connections,
and conceals its services with precision and clarity.
What once existed as a temporary shed now stands as a permanent landmark —
delivering a premium indoor arena environment that players,
